Notice is hereby given under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that casual vacancy exists in the office of Councillor for Stanway Parish Council, as Cormac Fitzgerald has resigned.
An election to fill the vacancywill be held if request in writing for such an election is made by ten electors registered within the electoral area and received by the Proper Office of Colchester City Council, by no later than Tuesday 26 May 2026. Otherwise, Stanway Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
