Colchester’s Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy (2020–2025) was developed by Colchester Borough Council and partner organisations committed to preventing homelessness in the borough.

Tenancy Management - Relationship breakdown policy

The policy sets out how requests for succession, assignment and mutual exchange will be considered and managed.

This policy sets out Colchester City Council’s approach to permitting tenants to carry out alterations to council‑owned properties.

The purpose of this policy is to assist tenants who have a right to remain in their home but live in a property that is bigger than their housing need to move to a smaller home.
