The Easter Holidays are just around the corner and Colchester Museums has a great mix of egg-citing dinosaur adventures and medieval fun taking place from 28 March – 12 April.
A dinosaur debut you won’t want to miss!
From Good Friday (3 April), you’ll be able to explore our brand‑new blockbuster exhibition, Discover at Hollytrees Museum – the first chance anywhere in the world to see Juliasaurus, a spectacular six‑metre dinosaur skeleton making its global debut right here in Colchester. Alongside this incredible centrepiece, you’ll uncover extraordinary fossils, curious objects and hidden wonders from Colchester’s past. It’s an exhibition filled with surprises and is the perfect Easter highlight for young dinosaur fans and curious explorers alike. Easter Fun at all our museums
At Colchester Castle, children can enjoy Family Tours, meet medieval characters, or enjoy themed fun in our dino-themed Kids Club: Discovery Detectives sessions. Over at the Natural History Museum, there’s plenty of FREE fun to be had, including an Easter worksheet, Fossil Day and Roars & Rhymes storytelling for little ones.
