We are thrilled to announce that the rapids are back in full flow in the Leisure Pool for the duration of the holidays joining our two flumes ready for you to have plenty of aquatic fun! The rapids will be running every day from 11am – 3pm and are the perfect way to turn a regular swim into a mini water adventure whether you’re floating along all together or letting the children ride the rush up ahead.
There’s plenty more to enjoy beyond the rapids too. The Leisure Pool is packed with family friendly features including the green and blue flumes, interactive water play-areas, bubbling pools and splash zones that cater for all ages and confidence levels. From thrill seekers to first‑time swimmers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Parents can relax knowing fun comes with safety built in. Qualified lifeguards are always on hand keeping a close eye on the pool and ensuring sessions are safe, supervised and welcoming for all swimmers, so you can focus on making memories while the children make waves.
If swimming isn’t your thing why not head over to Colchester Sports Park, where even more active fun awaits. Families can enjoy getting outdoors with access to the free Learn to Ride area, let confident riders loose on the BMX pump track, or book pay‑and‑play sports and courts for a kick‑about, game of badminton or family challenge.
