Inspired by Luke Jerram's breathtaking Museum of the Moon installation, Colchester Castle is delighted to be hosting a special live music event, Moon Music in Concert, performed by the talented local Abbeygate Concert Band on Wednesday 12 August. The concert will take place by the spectacular lunar sculpture, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience the installation in a completely different way.

Doors will open at 6.30pm, giving guests the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy a drink from the bar and take in the remarkable Museum of the Moon installation before the concert begins at 7pm. Seating will be arranged within the castle galleries, allowing audiences to enjoy an immersive musical experience whilst gazing at the Moon. All you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy an evening of celestial-inspired music.
