What we measure
We use a Corporate Indicator set to summarise how key services are performing. Historic results are available, and we continue to refresh indicators to align with our Strategic Plan.
How often we report
- Half-year and year-end performance reports are published for councillors and the public.
- Cabinet and Scrutiny receive formal updates twice a year; service teams continuously monitor KPIs and actions.
How to read our dashboards and reports
We use RAG (Red/Amber/Green) status, targets, and results. Each indicator includes a short narrative explaining performance.
Some indicators are supported by open data you can view or download.
Data quality and scope
We follow national transparency requirements and our Publication Scheme, and we publish data sets in accessible formats.
Some city-wide statistics sit with Essex County Council and are available via Essex Open Data.
