These are the slides from Colchester City Council’s Residents’ Panel Workshop held on Friday 5th of September 2025 at Firstsite Gallery. Members of the Residents' Panel were invited to give their honest feedback about the art gallery. Residents value Firstsite’s striking building and free access, but feel it is underused, unclear in purpose, and needs more promotion. People want it to be both a serious art gallery and a lively community hub. The workshop was very lively and the staff at Firstsite were grateful for the amount and level of feedback they’ve received.
